01 — Automation
Automation
Most leads are lost to response time, not to price.
A prospect who waits a day for a reply has usually already contacted a competitor.
Chatbot and automation work covers automated first response, lead qualification, routing to the right person and follow-up sequences. The objective is to shorten the gap between an enquiry arriving and a human engaging with it, not to replace that human.
02 — Detail
What automation should and should not do.
Automation is excellent at acknowledging instantly, collecting the basic information a salesperson needs, answering genuinely repetitive questions and routing the enquiry to the right person. It is bad at handling anything unexpected, and every user knows within two exchanges whether they are talking to a script.
The common failure is trying to make the bot close the sale. A prospect trapped in a decision tree that does not contain their question will leave, and the enquiry you had is gone. There should always be a visible route to a person.
The other half of the problem is what happens after hours. An automated acknowledgement that sets an honest expectation, combined with capturing the contact details, converts far better than silence, and it feeds directly into follow-up sequences.
03 — How it works
How we implement it.
- 01
Map the questions
What people actually ask before buying. Automate the repetitive ones only.
- 02
Qualify
Collect what the salesperson needs so the first human contact is already informed.
- 03
Route
To the right person, immediately, with the context attached.
- 04
Escape hatch
A visible route to a human at every step. Trapped users do not come back.
- 05
Follow up
Automated sequences for enquiries that go quiet, which is most of them.
